Duties
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons that promote literacy, math, and overall curriculum development.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through effective behavior management techniques.
- Engage with children in activities that enhance their early childhood education, including toddler care, preschool activities, and Montessori-inspired learning methods.
- Help create a safe and welcoming environment by supervising children during activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest periods.
- Collaborate with team members to adapt lesson plans for individual needs, including working with children with autism or disabilities.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and children's progress.
- Assist in classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or daycare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and Montessori or preschool methodologies.
- Experience supporting children with special needs or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Familiarity with lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education strategies.
- Classroom management skills to effectively handle diverse behaviors and foster a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, children, and families.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
