About the role
We refurbish business-class computers and tablets for resale. We're hiring an entry-level Computer Technician to work our repair bench — diagnosing, repairing, imaging, and grading devices. This is a hands-on hardware role, not a help-desk job. You'll be trained on our workflows, so we care more about aptitude and reliability than a long résumé.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair hardware faults on laptops and tablets — screens, batteries, ports, boards, and internal components.
- Reimage and configure devices; reinstall and validate operating systems.
- Run intake testing and functional QC; grade device condition against our standards.
- Log units accurately — serials, fault notes, repair status.
- Process returns and document issues and resolutions.
- Keep the bench organized and flag parts that need reordering.
What we're looking for
- Hands-on comfort with computer hardware — you've built, repaired, or tinkered with PCs/laptops, professionally or as a serious hobby.
- Basic troubleshooting sense: able to tell whether a fault is hardware, software, or OS-related.
- Familiarity with Windows (installing, reimaging, basic configuration).
- Careful, detail-oriented documentation habits.
- Reliable and able to work through a queue of devices with minimal supervision.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Health insurance
