The Men's Dept Barbershop is the Premiere Barbershop in Pinellas County. Our barbers service a wide range of people from all walks of life, but we are well known among the affluent clientele. We are open seven days a week and our barbers are busy and our clientele is growing each day! We offer the top pay in the area with guaranteed minimum pay, paid vacation, and benefits. All haircut services will include a shampoo/conditioner, a hot towel over the face, and a straight razor behind the neck.
We have a front support staff to help with all the client intake, booking, and phone calls. The services that you will be providing will also include a complimentary beer, wine, soda, coffee, or even a root beer float. We have a large lobby with plenty of seating, a pool table, and dartboard.
Responsibilities
- Perform traditional and modern haircuts using both scissors and clippers.
- Provide straight razor shaves and beard trims with precision and attention to detail.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired hairstyle and offer professional advice.
- Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and incorporate new techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to build and retain a loyal client base.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including the use of a straight razor
- Certification in barbering or relevant cosmetology field
- Strong communication skills to engage with clients effectively
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with sanitation practices in a salon environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently as needed

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per week
