ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This Site Directoris responsible for the planning, implementation, and supervision of daily program activities, staff, and youth participants, ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all children and families served at their site and in accordance with state regulations
They will oversee all operations of their site, with a focus on creating an environment which encourages children to develop a love of learning, become self-confident, self-motivated and independent explorers of the world.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age and have current EEC Preschool Lead Teacher Certification with certificate indicating proper credentials (LT/ P). (Director certified is encouraged but not required)
Qualifications- Ideal candidates will have:
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain shortly after signing on)
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Development
- Minimum one-year management experience in a preschool setting or related field.
- Knowledge of modern office methods working with computers, data entry and with Microsoft Office, email, and internet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills
- Honesty, integrity and operating as a team player are critical to this organization
- Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality of critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
- Understand, apply EEC regulations standards, departmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability to motivate youth and promote positive behavior
- Be skilled in organizing and supervising children in a safe, structured environment
- Candidate must pass a background check and provide references
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to balance multiple assignments and adjust direction and priorities within fast paced and multi-faceted work environment
- Report to scheduled shift consistently and on time.
- Follow policies, procedures and rules of the organization.
- Maintain high program standards.
- Be a strong advocate for the Club being a positive place to be.

Program Hours
- This is NOT a regular teaching position with 8 hours in the classroom everyday.
- Before School: Monday–Friday, beginning at 7:00 AM
- After School: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Mid-day Office Hours
This is a Full-time Hourly position averaging approximately 35 hours per week and includes partial benefits.
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
