Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including kennels and examination rooms.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive health measures.
- Manage front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Individual must help take clear accurate notes.
Requirements
- Experience in a veterinary setting or related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and handling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
