At Essential Spa, massage is more than a service- it's an experience rooted in care, intention, and trust. We're seeking a licensed Massage Therapist who enjoys meaningful client relationships and takes pride in therapeutic work that truly helps people feel better in their bodies.
We're also excited to train the right person in buccal (intra-oral) massage — an advanced, in-demand technique for facial tension release and lifting. No prior buccal experience is needed. If you're eager to expand your skill set, we'll teach you and help you grow into it.

What You'll Do
- Perform customized massage sessions based on each client's needs
- Perform deep tissue and therapeutic massages
- Learn and perform buccal massage (we'll fully train you)
- Create a peaceful, safe, and professional treatment experience
- Support client wellness by sharing education around recovery, tension, and self-care when appropriate
- Keep your treatment room clean, organized, and ready for each session
- Collaborate with our skincare team to support a well-rounded client experience

Additional Support Role
As your massage schedule grows, this position may also include light front desk and client support during slower massage hours, such as:
- Welcoming and checking in clients
- Assisting with scheduling
- Helping maintain smooth flow throughout the spa
- Supporting the overall client experience before and after appointments
This structure allows you to stay connected, supported, and engaged while building a steady massage clientele and keeps your income steady while your book fills up.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Massage Therapy License
- Interest in therapeutic and corrective massage work
- Willingness to learn buccal technique (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and a caring, client-focused mindset
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable assisting with front desk duties as needed
