GENERAL FUNCTION
The Distribution Clerk performs general warehouse activities including but not limited to picking, packing and shipping
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives/Verifies raw components/materials into SAP system and puts away into designated locations.
- Pulls production/RN orders using RF scanners/portable printers and consolidates into cart kits.
- Transports pulled kits, tech support or facilities parts, production supplies and other business unit mail/packages using company shuttle trucks
- Delivers kits into production areas, picks up/verifies/stages semi-finished goods, RTS, 901s. Returns empty kit carts
- Meets or exceeds all productivity and accuracy standards
- Reports discrepancies and anomalies
- Adheres or follows all safety standards and procedures
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Team Oriented
- Ability to follow clear instructions
- Communicates clearly and timely
- Lifting requirements are as follows:
- Often up to 20 lb
- On occasion 25-30 lb.
- Rarely 45 lb
- Basic Math Skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Ability to read and understand both written and spoken English instructions and directions in order to safely and effectively perform job duties ( ability to read and understand job safety requirements and procedures, instructions and directions from supervisors, lead, or co-workers)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain concentration for long periods of time, up to 8 – 10+ hours per day
- Adaptable and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Certifications: (Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Freight Elevator)
- Passionate about the Oakley brand and products
- Experience with SAP
Pay Range: $18.44 - $23.74
