We’re looking for experienced TCS professionals who know the road and want to stay on it.
Safety First Traffic Control is hiring high-quality, field-focused Traffic Control Supervisors with experience managing both:
HIGHWAY / HIGH-SPEED OPERATIONS
LOCAL ROADS / CITY STREETS
This is not a desk supervisor position. We want working leaders who can take ownership of a traffic control operation from setup through breakdown.
YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU CAN:

Run highway and local roadway lane closures

Read and properly implement traffic control plans

Lead crews safely and confidently

Work with TMAs, arrow boards, signs, cones and drums

Manage flagging operations, detours and road closures

Recognize unsafe conditions and correct them immediately

Adapt when roadway or jobsite conditions change

Communicate professionally with customers and inspectors

Train and develop less-experienced team members

Take pride in leaving behind a clean, professional work zone
WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Current TCS Certification
NCDOT Experience
Highway + Local Roadway Experience
Strong Crew Leadership
Valid Driver's License
Safety, Reliability & Accountability

- Pay based on certification, experience and demonstrated field ability.
