Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Interventional Pain Management

Our established and growing Interventional Pain Management practice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside six board-certified physicians specializing in the treatment of acute and chronic pain.
We offer a collaborative, patient-centered environment where providers are supported and encouraged to grow professionally. Whether you have experience in pain management or are looking to transition into this specialty, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Position Summary
The NP or PA will provide high-quality outpatient care, including office evaluations and telemedicine consultations. Responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate's experience, training, and skill set.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other appropriate treatments in accordance with state regulations.
- Perform in-office procedures (based on training and experience).
- Conduct telemedicine follow-up visits as needed.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New Jersey (New York license is a plus).
- Previous experience in Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is preferred, but not required.
- We are happy to train motivated candidates interested in specializing in Pain Management.
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required.
