Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver. This role offers the opportunity to operate Monday through Friday delivering freight to the ports of Seattle and Tacoma WA. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times.
- Transport dry or reefer cargo securely, maintaining the integrity of freight during transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before departure and after delivery.
- Document all deliveries accurately, including load & unload details, mileage logs, and compliance paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any incidents encountered on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT requirements.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers confidently.
- Strong manual handling skills for loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.

Pay: $300.00 - $450.00 per day
