The Kina'ole Family of Companies seeks to hire a Proposal Manager. The Proposals & Marketing Manager will oversee the development and execution of our family of companies’ proposal submissions and marketing initiatives. This role is vital in ensuring that the company’s proposals are competitive and that its marketing efforts effectively communicate the company's value proposition. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our proposals are compelling, compliant, and tailored to meet client needs, while also driving the company’s brand and market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both proposal management and marketing within the government contracting sector, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the government contracting landscape, proven ability to multi-task, exceptional writing and communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Proposal Management

Coordinate the proposal development process from initial planning to submission.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and draft proposal content to ensure strategic messaging.

Ensure all proposals meet RFP requirements and are aligned with company capabilities and strategies.

Maintain and update a library of proposal templates and relevant documentation

Review and edit proposals for clarity compliance and impact

Review, refine and implement best practices to ensure continuous improvement of processes
Marketing Strategy

Develop and implement marketing campaigns to enhance our family of companies' brand and market presence.

Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, presentations and online content

Support the company's online presence by managing the website and social media platforms.

Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.

Assist in organizing and promoting company participation in industry events and conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in proposal management and marketing.

Detail oriented, excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and organization skills

Ability to work flexible hours to manage and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Proven experience in developing successful proposals for government contracts

Experience in branding, digital marketing and content creation

Working proficiency in Adobe AcrobatPro, Adobe InDesgin with experience in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator

Advance proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.

Proposal management and marketing preferably in the government contracting sector (preferred).
