GBS Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and creative Certified Teacher / Curriculum Specialist to develop and implement customized educational programs for homeschooled children, including students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, learning disabilities, and other unique learning needs.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing individualized curricula, monitoring student progress, collaborating with families, and supporting a small-group learning environment designed to help every child succeed.
Qualifications
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
✅ Current Florida Teaching Certificate (ESE certification preferred)
✅ Experience developing curriculum and lesson plans for elementary-aged students
✅ Knowledge of Florida Standards and homeschool education requirements
✅ Experience working with neurodivergent learners and/or children with special needs
✅ Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individualized learning plans
✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
✅ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized curricula based on each student's strengths, needs, and learning goals
- Create lesson plans and educational materials aligned with student objectives
- Monitor academic progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with families and the educational team
- Implement accommodations and modifications for diverse learners
- Maintain student records and progress reports
- Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment

Pay: $45,212.77 - $54,449.79 per year
