Chicago Behavioral Clinic, located in the vibrant Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, is actively seeking a licensed doctoral-level clinical psychologist to join our private practice. We provide a range of services including psychological assessment, individual psychotherapy, and group therapy, primarily on an outpatient basis. Our practice specializes in treating a wide array of conditions such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, career and vocational concerns, chronic pain, adjustment to chronic medical illness, women’s health, insomnia, weight management, and multicultural/diversity issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- Current licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Demonstrated experience in working with adult populations.
- Proficiency in various psychotherapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
Preferred Experience:
- A background in health psychology, particularly experience in working with individuals with chronic medical conditions, although this is not a mandatory requirement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality individual therapy primarily via telehealth.
- Participate in opportunities for group therapy and psychological testing, which include bariatric evaluations, spinal cord stimulation evaluations, and PTSD/trauma evaluations, depending on interest.
- The role initially offers part-time hours with the potential to expand to full-time based on practice needs and candidate preference.
