Animal Hospital of Newton Conover is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our rapidly growing, full-service small animal hospital. Our privately owned hospital is equipped with a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, electronic medical records, complete pharmacy, a modern surgical suite and three exam rooms. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, comprehensive surgical and medical care to dogs and cats while forming lasting bonds with our clientele. The highly efficient support staff allows our doctors more time to focus on patient care and complex medical cases without the headache of tedious tasks and problems.
We are open Monday-Friday with no after hours or weekend shifts. Emergencies are referred to one of the three emergency/critical care facilities within 50 miles of our hospital. The opportunity for complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgery exists with the option of referral for the most complicated cases.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, efficient and reliable individual. While experience is a plus, new grads are encouraged to apply as the opportunity for mentorship is available. A part-time or full-time schedule can be accommodated to ensure a healthy work/life balance.
Newton, NC is a small suburb of Hickory, located an hour north of Charlotte and an hour east of Asheville at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
