Silver Lands owns and manages a diverse portfolio of residential properties, including single-family homes, multi-family units, apartment complexes, and manufactured housing. We take pride in maintaining quality housing and building lasting relationships with our residents. As we grow, we're looking for a motivated, people-first Community Manager to join our team.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, pipe replacements, water heater repairs, and fixture installation
- Perform routine inspections of water and sewer lines throughout the community
- Complete general maintenance tasks: HVAC filters, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Respond to resident work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and prepare vacant homes for occupancy
- Maintain community grounds, roads, and common areas as needed
- Coordinate with outside vendors for work beyond in-house scope
- Keep accurate records of completed work orders and parts used
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of maintenance experience, with a strong focus on plumbing
- Hands-on knowledge of residential plumbing systems (supply, drain, and vent)
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing schematics
- General mechanical aptitude — HVAC, electrical, and carpentry a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Experience in manufactured housing or property management preferred but not required
