Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders to kitchen staff promptly.
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail and beverage service, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments accurately while giving correct change.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, bar areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards.
- Support food preparation, bussing tables, and assisting with host/hostess duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations effectively.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $21.92 - $26.40 per hour
