Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician – Day Porter to provide daytime janitorial and facility support services. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning and day porter duties throughout the facility, including restocking supplies, monitoring and maintaining restrooms, servicing interior and exterior, and keeping parking lots and common areas clean and presentable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform day porter and general janitorial services throughout the facility during operating hours.
- Regularly inspect restrooms and ensure they are clean, sanitary, and properly stocked.
- Restock restroom and facility supplies, including paper products, soap, and other consumable items.
- Empty and replace trash liners in interior trash receptacles and maintain exterior trash areas.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, and other exterior areas.
- Pick up litter and debris around the building and surrounding grounds.
- Clean and maintain common areas, lobbies, hallways, break rooms, and other assigned areas.
- Spot clean floors, walls, glass, doors, and other surfaces as needed throughout the day.
- Respond promptly to spills, messes, and other cleaning needs.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance of the facility throughout business hours.
- Perform additional janitorial and facility-support duties as assigned.
- Follow all established safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and building security requirements.
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with bank employees, customers, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or day porter experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, customers, and facility personnel.
- Ability to safely use common janitorial equipment and cleaning products.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry typical janitorial supplies and trash bags as required.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
