You will be responsible for various kitchen tasks that contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with serving when necessary to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to all health regulations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to facilitate smooth operations
- Participate in banquet service as needed, contributing to special events and catering functions
- Run and operate POS system as a cash register.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not needed
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Culinary experience or formal training in hospitality is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
