About the Role
Four Loving Paws is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/RVN) to join our treatment team. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while supporting veterinarians, educating clients, and maintaining an efficient, patient-focused clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dental procedures
- Induce and monitor anesthesia and support surgical recovery
- Perform radiographs, laboratory testing, venipuncture, and catheter placement
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Provide nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical systems
Client Communication
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, nutrition, and post-operative care
- Communicate treatment plans and discharge instructions clearly and compassionately
- Assist with client questions and follow-up communication
Clinic Operations & Teamwork
- Maintain clean, organized treatment and surgical areas
- Follow sterilization, safety, and controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Help mentor and support team members as needed
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology/Nursing program
- Active Indiana RVT license in good standing
- Preferred: 2+ years small animal clinical experience
- Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, laboratory work, and patient handling
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
- Flexible schedule (Tuesday/Thursday 8:30a-1p availability preferred)
- Wednesday evening availability preferred

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
