Job Title: Laborer
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73105
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hour work week)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Overview:
Join a dedicated team in a vital role supporting important agricultural processes. As a Laborer 3, you will play an essential part in grinding feed and fertilizer samples, helping ensure quality and accuracy in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
The role offers the opportunity to work independently, contribute to meaningful work, and develop valuable hands-on skills in a supportive and professional setting.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a loud, hot environment and wearing PPE/Safety Gear.
- Good attention to detail and ability to document work accurately.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to repetitively apply force and perform manual tasks such as grinding, shaking, and lifting.
- Must be able to successfully pass both a background check and a drug screening as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Grind feed and fertilizer samples using specialized equipment.
- Bag samples and label them accurately.
- Work independently in a lab environment, following safety protocols.
- Tolerate loud and hot working conditions while maintaining focus.
- Wear appropriate PPE and safety gear at all times.
- Stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Use wire brushes and other tools to remove sample material from grinding parts.
- Record and document work completed, including sample details and measurements.
