Position Overview
AmeriServe is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Technician with NATE Certification and at least 10 years of commercial experience. This role focuses on servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex commercial HVAC systems in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial HVAC systems including:
- Rooftop units (RTUs)
- Chillers, boilers, and hydronic systems
- VAV/VRF systems
- Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)
- Perform preventative maintenance for commercial accounts
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls issues
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and company standards
- Communicate with facility managers and clients professionally
- Complete detailed service documentation
Requirements
- NATE Certification (Required)
- Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC experience
- EPA Certification
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- BAS/BMS experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to work independently in field environments
