Duties
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Manage nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Oversee the assessment of patient needs and the development of care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided
- Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in budget planning and management related to nursing services
Requirements
- Extensive experience in hospice nursing, with a focus on management
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and standards
- Previous experience in hospice care settings is required
- Strong leadership and nurse management skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and drive performance improvements
Qualifications
-Active State license as a registered nurse, or a multi-state license by a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) member state. -Current valid driver's license -Minimum one year of hospice or home care experience as a RN within the last 36 months. Hospice experience preferred. Management experience preferred. -Reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance.
