Position Title: Production Worker - Production Operator
Wage: $20.53 per hour
Shift: 3rd
Hours: 11:00pm-7:00am
QPS Employment Group has a great Production Worker - Production Operator position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Production Worker - Production Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate manufacturing equipment, hoists, and production machinery.
- Load and unload materials and finished products.
- Monitor machine performance and identify defects.
- Make minor adjustments and notify supervisors of issues.
- Complete housekeeping and safety inspections.
Production Worker - Production Operator Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to consistently lift 75–100 pounds depending on position and department.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to read blueprints and production documentation.
