Our professionally led programs include short-term individual support and support groups, educational workshops, stress management and healthy lifestyle programs, social programs, and resource and referral, all provided at no cost to participants.

Position Summary
Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis is seeking an Executive Director to lead a mission-driven organization.
Working closely with the Board of Directors and a small but mighty team of dedicated professionals, the Executive Director is responsible for leading all aspects of CSCSTL’s operations, providing strategic leadership, and managing day-to-day operations, including fundraising, financial management, program oversight, administration, and donor and participant engagement.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who is passionate about the organization's mission, enjoys working in a small-team environment, and is willing to be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on contributor.

The ideal candidate will bring:
- Minimum five years of senior leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and donor development

- Entrepreneurial thinking and resourcefulness
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, digital engagement, data, and organizational capabilities to strengthen fundraising and community outreach

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is necessary, and experience with donor management software is preferred
Work Arrangement and Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried in-office position in the Westport area. Occasional evening and weekend work is required for board meetings and fundraising events. Local or regional travel may be required two to three times per year.

Compensation
The salary range is $100,000 to $125,000 based on executive leadership experience, fundraising success, financial acumen, and overall nonprofit leadership depth.
