Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal matches taste excellence
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety protocols at all times
- Assist in food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met throughout the production process
- Support high-volume production needs by working quickly without compromising quality or safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, bakery, or pastry preparation within a fast-paced environment. Portfolios are welcomed.
- Strong skills in cake decorating, baking, and general food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various culinary tools
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward teamwork and collaboration
- Previous catering or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency in baked goods and pastries
- Must be willing to work with the Owner's vision for the bakery
