Job Overview
This position is short term/temporary (3-6 weeks). Candidate must be local to the Brookings/Gold Beach area.
In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump truck to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
Duties
- Safely operate CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) dump trucks to transport dirt, gravel, debris, and other construction materials across job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of dump trucks and related equipment, ensuring compliance with equipment safety procedures and federal construction safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks and machinery, including checking fluid levels, tire conditions, and mechanical components to ensure optimal operation.
- Follow all safety regulations during equipment operation, including construction site safety protocols and heavy equipment operation standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials transported, hours worked, and equipment used for project documentation.
Experience
- Valid CDL license
- Experience operating commercial dump trucks in construction environments.
- Prior work experience in construction utility work or general construction projects will be advantageous.
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
