Job Description:
Fastest Labs of Kansas City is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Drug Testing Collector to join our Bonner Springs location. This role is responsible for performing drug and alcohol testing while following strict federal and company procedures.
This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently. You will be trained and certified in all required testing methods.
Responsibilities:
- Perform urine, hair, nail, and breath alcohol (BAT) collections
- Follow all Federal DOT and non-DOT chain of custody procedures exactly
- Complete all paperwork accurately with no errors
- Ensure proper handling and shipping of specimens (same-day when required)
- Communicate with clients and donors in a professional manner
- Answer phones, assist walk-in clients, and schedule testing when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Travel locally for onsite and post-accident testing
- Be available for after-hours and emergency testing as needed
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail (paperwork accuracy is critical)
- Ability to follow strict step-by-step procedures
- Comfortable working with biological specimens (urine, hair, nails, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous experience in drug testing or medical field
- DOT collection experience

- After-hours and onsite work is required and paid separately
