Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming atmosphere and provide personalized service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery and proper processing of cash or card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with beverage recipe development to introduce new drinks that excite our guests’ palates.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, preferably within fine dining or upscale venues.
- Demonstrated cocktail expertise with knowledge of mixology techniques and spirits.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong understanding of beverage recipes, wine knowledge, brewing processes, and beverage presentation standards.
- Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for inventory management.
