American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Radiology/Cardiology CT department in an acute care hospital setting
-
Patient population includes adult acute care, adult and pediatric outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department cases
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
13 week assignment length
-
Candidates will float within the hospital as needed

Uses Philips CT equipment
-
Epic EMR experience strongly preferred, required for ER
-
Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required, 3 years preferred
-
ARRT(CT) certification required
-
BLS certification required
-
Valid State or Compact license required if applicable
-
Epic charting experience required
-
Two professional references completed within the last two years by a supervisor required for consideration
-
Copy of Nursys report pulled within the last 7 days required for consideration
-
Proof of COVID vaccination required, with completed exemption form if applicable
-
Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
-
Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies
-
Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
-
Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture
-
Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety
-
Perform CT imaging studies including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal cases
-
Perform special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, and drainage
-
Perform cardiac CT studies such as calcium scoring and coronary angiography
-
First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate

Previous employees must have been away for at least one year and remain in good standing to be considered for return, and local former employees are not eligible to return
