Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse ICU to partner with us in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This will be a deployed, rotational contract, ideally with a 3-month on, 1-month off rotation cycle.
The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Port au Prince, Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility. All support services are being provided by the US Government, including camp facilities and basic life support requirements, including travel, meals, accommodation, internet, and other ancillary support services.
Aspen Medical will provide a Level 2 Field Hospital with EMS, Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services. All clinic service delivery services will be provided in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures.

Education:
- A graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required.
- License:
- Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia.
- Certification:
- Current, valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years as a registered nurse with a minimum of one (1) full year of experience in intensive care, critical care, or emergency department nursing, or equivalent.
This position will be a 1099 contractor, with a fixed daily rate while on rotation. You will not receive pay while off rotation.

Registered Nurse ICU/Critical Care

The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Port au Prince, Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility.

Qualification Requirements

Completion of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program (university) or accredited diploma program (three to four years) after high school graduation.

A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible clinical experience in general nursing, intensive care, emergency medicine, and health service administration.
- Must have advanced acute trauma care and pre-hospital trauma life support or equivalent training certification within 12 months prior to their deployment.

Must be currently registered by a national nursing board or council to practice in their respective country or another UN Member State. License validity should cover the deployment duration. In lieu of licensure (where applicable), a letter of good standing should be provided by the relevant national authority.
- Completion of board-certified/post-graduate certified specialty training by an appropriate body in a UN Member State.

At least two (2) years of clinical practice as a licensed specialist nurse.

Currently registered to practice nursing and licensed to apply specialty without supervision in his/her own country or another UN Member State.
Language Proficiency:
- English proficiency-a minimum of Level B 2 is required
