Security Site Supervisor needed for high rise luxury condominium. Ability to work with others. Must be able to work weekends and lead the team. Must be able to do prolonged walking and communicate effectively. Must have supervisory experience and a security D license.
We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Security Site Supervisor to lead our security operations and ensure a safe, secure environment across our designated site. In this pivotal role, you will oversee security personnel, implement security protocols, and coordinate emergency responses. Your leadership will help maintain compliance with security regulations while providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel, ensuring high standards of vigilance and professionalism.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, utilizing surveillance equipment and access control systems to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Manage incident report writing with detailed documentation of any security incidents, accidents, or violations occurring on-site.
- Perform background checks on new security staff and contractors to verify suitability for the role.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures such as fire safety protocols, first aid administration, AED operation, and CPR.
- Oversee the enforcement of security policies, including heavy lifting safety, manual handling procedures, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Utilize law enforcement collaboration when necessary and assist in performing conflict de-escalation and conflict management to resolve issues peacefully.
- Operate access control systems to regulate entry points for employees, visitors, and vendors while maintaining detailed logs of all movements.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with inquiries while maintaining a secure environment.
- Perform routine surveillance activities using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools to ensure ongoing site safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in physical security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques, access control systems, incident report writing, and emergency response procedures.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and conflict de-escalation are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively and de-escalate tense situations.
- Demonstrated ability to perform background checks on personnel and enforce security policies consistently.
- Physical fitness suitable for patrolling large areas over extended periods.
- Commitment to compliance with all security regulations and organizational policies.
