Position overview
We're hiring Wiring Technicians to build custom electrical switchgear systems for industrial and commercial power distribution. You'll work from written instructions, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to route, terminate, and connect wiring inside switchgear assemblies — using hand tools, power tools, and crimping/stripping equipment to build to spec.
Responsibilities
Route, cut, strip, and terminate wiring inside switchgear assemblies according to wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
Install wire harnesses, lugs, terminals, and connectors using crimpers, strippers, and torque tools
Build to spec by following sequential step-by-step instructions and mechanical/electrical drawings
Label, dress, and bundle wire runs cleanly for inspection, testing, and customer hand-off
Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and support a quality-focused production environment

Requirements
Able to read English, perform basic math, and follow sequential step-by-step written instructions
Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings (blueprints, technical documentation)
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring tools (protractor, caliper); auto repair, home improvement, or Ikea-style assembly experience counts
Able to stand 10 hours a day and bend, twist, reach, and push; reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented in repetitive work
Prior switchgear, panel, or control panel wiring experience preferred — including wire termination (crimping, stripping, lugs, torque-to-spec), familiarity with UL standards (UL 508A, UL 891), CAD/technical drawings, or technical training in electrical or industrial maintenance
