Summary: The Process Technician is responsible for the efficient operation of injection molding processes and troubleshooting molding issues in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors machines and provides process assistance in a timely manner to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Starts up and adjusts machines for maximum output and efficiency and to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Performs injection mold changes.
- Sets up auxiliary equipment.
- Programs robotic material handlers and injection mold machines.
- Performs insert and version changes to molds, including date code accuracy.
- Assists Maintenance Technicians in the repair of machines, molds, and other auxiliary machines.
- Assists the Safety and Technical Managers in enforcing safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Assists in the inspection of in-process and finished product.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years related experience, preferably in an injection molding manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office
- Able and willing to work flexible shifts (including 12-hour rotating day/night shifts)
- Ability to cover shifts and work overtime hours as needed
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
