OneSparQ is looking for a Metrology Manufacturing Engineer for a growing aerospace company in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and integrate Hexagon Touch Probe and Ultrasonic Probe systems into CNC machining environments
- Configure and support on-machine metrology solutions on HBZ Aerocell milling machines
- Develop and optimize probing and inspection programs using PC-DMIS and related Hexagon software
- Capture, analyze, and validate dimensional measurement data to improve machining accuracy and process capability
- Support CNC manufacturing operations through process development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot metrology system issues, machine probing routines, and inspection processes
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and CNC programming teams to improve precision and reduce scrap/rework
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of CNC metrology experience
- Strong technical background with on-machine probing and Hexagon metrology systems
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T principles
- Experience supporting precision manufacturing or tight-tolerance machining environments
Additional Skills:
- Experience working with RWP20.50-G-UTP
- Experience working in the aerospace industry
