Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock control to maintain an appealing store presentation.
- Manage daily operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and sales transactions with accuracy.
- Train new employees on store policies, product knowledge, customer engagement techniques, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a motivated team environment.
- Implement operational policies related to payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory control to ensure smooth store functioning.
Skills
- Proven management experience within retail environments, especially in sales team supervision or store management roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence.
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in training & development and supervising staff members.
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques such as merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases effectively.
