Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, certified Professional Dog Trainer to join our growing pet care facility. This role is ideal for a motivated trainer who enjoys working with both individual clients and group classes and wants to grow their own book of business within an established company.
Duties
- Lead group training classes (puppy, basic manners, intermediate, etc.)
- Provide private, one-on-one training sessions
- Conduct training evaluations and recommend appropriate programs
- Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners
- Maintain a safe, positive, and effective training environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional dog training experience
- Current certification from a recognized organization (e.g., CPDT-KA, CPDT-KSA, KPA, IAABC, CCPDT, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and learning theory
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
Compensation
