The Donation Manager supports store leadership in planning, implementing, and overseeing merchandise processing and daily retail operations. This role works closely with the Store Manager to ensure that store policies, procedures, and operational standards are executed effectively, fostering a productive and customer-focused environment. The Donation Manager helps drive operational efficiency, high-quality service, and a positive shopping experience for every customer. This position reports to the Store Manager, who evaluates performance annually.

Responsibilities:-
Maintain a safe and secure work environment by enforcing safety protocols and proactively working to minimize internal theft and shoplifting
- Communicate any operational issues, challenges, or observations to the Store Manager and District Manager, providing insight and recommendations for corrective actions or improvements, and collaborate to develop and implement action plans to resolve issues
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, holding team members accountable for performance and conduct
- Regularly review and analyze store sales, payroll, and other operational expenses to ensure financial goals are met while maintaining cost control and profitability
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:-
Proven experience managing production or donation operations in fast-paced environments, with a focus on improving systems and driving efficiency
- Clear communicator, able to present complex ideas and collaborate across teams
- Effective team leader, motivating and empowering individuals to meet goals while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving abilities, tackling challenges with creative and practical solutions
- Adaptable, comfortable adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs and new technologies
