We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.
- Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Identify required tools and materials and prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for plumbing repairs and resolve issues efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other construction professionals and team members.
- Maintain clear records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to all relevant safety procedures, regulations, and standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or repair.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
- Experience with advanced plumbing systems (e.g., hydronic, solar-powered, or backflow prevention).
- Familiarity with electronic plumbing diagnostic equipment.
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA safety training).
