Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate curiosity and learning.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques, ensuring each child feels valued and supported.
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by applying early intervention strategies and understanding childhood development milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to tailor educational activities for children with special education needs or those requiring additional support.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations to support ongoing development.
- Promote child welfare by ensuring safety protocols are followed and providing nurturing care during daycare or preschool hours.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles such as literacy education, math fundamentals, and Montessori methods.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members.
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in childcare and preschool education.

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
