Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both guest rooms areas. *Responsibilities* - Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, and vacuuming - Launder linens and towels following hotel standards Restock housekeeping carts with supplies as needed. Experience in cleaning and maintaining guest rooms Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards - Ability to work efficiently and independently
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing with care and efficiency.
- Conduct outdoor work as needed, including sweeping patios, cleaning outdoor furniture, and maintaining garden or yard areas.
- Use proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or rearrangements.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and restock cleaning products to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or clients’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Utilize carpet cleaning equipment and techniques to refresh carpets and upholstery effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols related to janitorial work, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Support housekeeping management in scheduling tasks and maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple areas.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong background in janitorial services or custodial work.
- Experience with hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation procedures, and outdoor maintenance.
- Familiarity with laundry operations and handling heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices to coordinate daily tasks efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with outdoor work environments such as garden maintenance or exterior cleaning projects is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for residents or clients while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
