American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring an active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license.

Diagnostic imaging department at an acute care hospital in Hilo, Hawaii

Varied shifts averaging 8 hours, with approximately 3 call days per month

Equipment includes Philips DR fixed units, Philips fluoroscopy, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and portable DR equipment

Epic EMR experience preferred

Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist

Current ARRT certification and BLS required

Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable

Demonstrated proficiency operating DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment

Knowledge of radiation safety protocols

Must be assigned and maintain a dosimetry badge

All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of assignment; travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to attend the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning

Functions independently without direct supervision in the radiology department

Experience with Epic EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR is preferred but not required
