The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting a positive, productive, and people‑focused workplace. This position is responsible for delivering day‑to‑day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance processes, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver who can balance empathy with sound judgment, communicate clearly across all levels of the organization, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. This role partners closely payroll, acting as backup as needed, and working with managers and employees to ensure HR policies are understood, workplace issues are addressed promptly, and the organization’s culture and values are consistently reinforced.
To be successful, the Human Resources Generalist will do the following:
- Maintain and update Human Resources documentation, policies, procedures and processes.
- Periodically evaluate CGT Global processes and programs to ensure that they reflect the current practices of the organization.
- Administer employee benefits package including new hire enrollments and company-wide open enrollments.
- Manage talent acquisition and recruitment process.
- Develop strategic partnerships to broaden candidate pools.
- Design and organize new employee orientation, on-boarding and introduction programs.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Process payroll transactions to include salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Communicate company updates and changes regarding new hires, terminations, benefit changes, or policy changes.
- Provide coaching and conflict resolution to managers and employees.
- Conduct investigations regarding harassment, discrimination, injuries, and violation of company policies.
- Process all workers compensation claims to ensure a timely resolution.
- Train employees and maintain adherence to Employee Handbook.
- Maintain the Equity Plan documents, presentations to new hires and other miscellaneous aspects of the plan as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant Human Resources Experience.
- Sound decision making and organizational skills
- 3 years of experience processing multi-state payroll
- Ability to work independently and with a team, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- A driving sense of urgency and a seasoned “can do” orientation.
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
- Ability to command respect at all levels of the organization, capable of highly independent work as well as being a team player and role model.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, able to facilitate open and effective dialogue throughout the Company.
- Proven experience protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Demonstrated work ethic, organization and planning.
- Possess strong time management skills.Preferred Qualifications
- Professional human resources certification, such as PHR/SPHR.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or Science related field of study.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
