Dishwasher — Old Capitol Grill and Smokehouse

Old Capitol Grill is hiring a dishwasher. We're the smokehouse in the old Capitol building downtown, running a full scratch kitchen, which means we go through a lot of pots, pans, and plates. This is a solid way to get your foot in the door in a real kitchen, plenty of our cooks started right here at the sink.
What you'll be doing
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils quickly and thoroughly
- Keeping the dish pit organized and stocked so the kitchen doesn't back up
- Sweeping and mopping the kitchen and dish area
- Taking out trash and keeping garbage areas clean
- Helping with basic prep when things are slow
- Restocking clean dishes and supplies where they need to go
- Following food safety and sanitation rules
What we're looking for
- No experience needed, we'll train you
- Able to keep up during a busy dinner rush
- Reliable, shows up on time and ready to work
- Comfortable on your feet for a full shift
- Works well with the rest of the team
- High school diploma or equivalent isn't required
