About Renew Management
We believe great companies are built by great people doing great work. That means well-maintained communities, residents who are proud to live there, and a team that takes pride in solving problems the right way.
About the role
We're hiring someone to lead maintenance and renovations across our multifamily portfolio, not just keep things running, but own how the work gets done. You'll oversee building systems, unit turns, vendors, capital projects, and emergency response. The right person takes responsibility, leads through action, and believes quality matters even when nobody is watching.
Your responsibilities
- Property maintenance and repairs: Building systems, work orders, preventative maintenance, inspections, and code compliance. You don’t need to fix every problem personally, but you do need to diagnose, prioritize, delegate, and verify the work.
- Unit turns and renovations: Lead turn operations to minimize vacancy without sacrificing quality. Plan and oversee renovation and capital improvement projects from scope to finish.
- Team leadership: Supervise, coach, schedule, and develop the maintenance and renovation team. Set clear expectations, inspect the work, and build a culture of accountability.
- Vendors and contractors: Source bids, manage scopes, and hold vendors to professionalism, quality, and follow-through.
- Budgets and planning: Help build and manage maintenance and capital budgets.
- Emergency response: Oversee the on-call rotation and step in personally when serious issues need leadership.
