Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist
Location: Jamaica, NY
Type: Contract | 9 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Evening / Night Shift | Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM | 35 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: Local: $60.50/hr | Travel: $74.88/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Lab Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Jamaica, NY.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing procedures
- Analyze and process laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently
- Maintain laboratory equipment and quality control standards
- Ensure compliance with NYSED, hospital, and laboratory safety protocols
- Accurately document and report laboratory findings
- Collaborate with healthcare teams regarding patient test results
- Follow infection control and laboratory regulatory standards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience required
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Laboratory Technology program required
- Active NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (092) required
- Strong laboratory testing and specimen processing experience
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- BLS Certification preferred
- Hospital laboratory experience preferred
