We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team at an active dredge and material placement site. Our operation involves dredging, placing material, and processing dredge spoils into sellable sand and clay products — making this a dynamic, multi-phase environment that requires operators who are sharp, self-sufficient, and take pride in their work.
You will operate a variety of machines including excavators, long reach excavators, and dozers across wet and soft-ground conditions. A strong understanding of working on mats is essential — operators must know how to safely position, navigate, and work around mat setups to protect both equipment and ground conditions.
Operators are expected to perform daily pre-shift and post-shift maintenance on their assigned machine. This includes fluid checks, greasing, inspections, and reporting any mechanical concerns promptly. We take care of our equipment and expect our operators to do the same.
A key part of this role is the ability to identify and differentiate between materials — sand, clay, and mixed spoils — and handle them accordingly. Proper material segregation directly impacts our product quality and site efficiency, so attention to this detail is a must.
If you are a hands-on operator who knows your machine, knows your ground, and knows your material, we want to hear from you.
