A leading Construction Commercial Interiors General Contractor is looking to hire a Assistant Superintendent to join their growing Manhattan team due to continued success within the commercial interiors market across NYC.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Assistant Superintendent to progress into a Superintendent whilst delivering high-end commercial interior fit-outs, workplace renovations, tenant improvements, and corporate interior projects throughout Manhattan.
About the Role
Responsibilities for the Superintendent include:
- Managing subcontractors on commercial interior projects
- Coordinating daily site activities across multiple projects
- Running schedules, look-ahead meetings, and site coordination meetings
- Leading OAC meetings and maintaining communication with clients and project teams
- Maintaining quality control and site safety standards
- Working closely with Project Managers on projects throughout Manhattan
- Overseeing commercial interior construction activities from demolition through final handover
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Superintendent within the commercial interiors market
- Proven experience managing commercial interior projects in NYC
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-outs and renovations
- Must be working for a New York City General Contractor specializing in commercial interiors
