We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture high-precision metal components for defense-related projects.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen (required due to government contracts)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and basic CNC program editing
Preferred:
- Experience with 5-axis mills, Wire EDM, or MasterCam
- Aerospace/Defense manufacturing experience
- ISO 9001 knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Inspect parts to ensure quality and tight tolerances
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Troubleshoot machining processes and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with engineering to support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
