Compensation: $30,000–$40,000 per year (DOE)

We're experiencing tremendous growth and are proud to have NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith as part of the Waterbird Home Solutions organization. As we continue expanding, we're looking for an experienced Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and help support the next phase of our growth.

What You'll Do
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Coordinate payroll reporting and related accounting entries
- Partner with the company's CPA on tax preparation and year-end reporting
- Monitor company financial performance and provide financial insights to ownership
- Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in the plumbing, construction, or home services industry is a plus
- CPA preferred, but not required
