Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Production Cook/Sanitor to join our dynamic food manufacturing team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook food items according to established recipes and production schedules
- Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to strict sanitation standards
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and waste disposal to ensure a hygienic environment
- Conduct routine janitorial duties across the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, and storage areas
- Assist with food processing tasks by organizing raw materials, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly lines
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling bulk ingredients or equipment parts in accordance with safety protocols
- Follow all safety procedures related to manufacturing and custodial work to prevent accidents or contamination
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, industrial cleaning, or custodial roles within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures specific to food production facilities
- Experience with janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and waste management
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning or material handling activities
- Familiarity with food processing or manufacturing processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the facility
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
